I'm Eimear, I live in Wallingford and I love to paint.
I studied a Sustainable Product Design degree a few years ago and feel passionately about combining creativity and sustainability. I create treasures through painting & upcycling.
I love making pieces unique using imaginative, fantastical illustrations inspired by nature. My artwork combines all different mediums including watercolour, charcoal, inks and even plaster & wire.
I have worked as a primary school teacher and feel that children's books are the truest form of magic...Silly, funny and full of heart. Creating worlds to escape to and bring them to life through pictures, is one of my favourite creative outlets. Please check out my 'books' page to read more.

Doing good
Making my products as eco as possible is very important to me. Nature is my biggest creative stimulus and I intend to take care of it as best as possible, whilst painting it. All of my products are plastic free, I always use FSC approved cards and paper, and recycled materials where possible. Some of my products are printed using vegetable inks and this is an avenue I'm keen to keep exploring.

I have combined my love of illustration, my background in teaching and passion for creative writing to create children's books.
I've recently written a second book which is children's fiction called 'Smuggler the Budgie' and it's available now in my online shop. It's a rhyming story full of captivating illustrations which tells the tale of a boy and a bird who share a love of the planet and a love of fun! These friends blaze a trail to teach a meanie a lesson he won't be forgetting any time soon. This silly, funny, heartfelt story is suitable for children to read to themselves aged 6+ or to have read to them at a younger age.

My Children's Animal A-Z
My first children's book was a rhyming animal a-z which taught facts through silly poems and vivid illustrations. It has a strong ecological and environmental narrative. It's available to buy here
Artwork
I love to create art inspired by nature using watercolours, inks, pastels, acrylics and pen. I sell original art and greeting cards in my online shop and also at Blue Tin Produce. Murals
One of the services I provide is hand-painted illustrations

Furniture
I up-cycle old furniture using painting, sanding and illustrating. This technique makes for beautiful pieces of furniture for children's rooms and nurseries. It's such an eco way of turning something old and worn-out into something special for your child and saves you buying something mass produced when the world is full of furniture that has a story to tell.
